One
of the best ways to experience real freedom and enjoy the rugged islands
and mountainous coastline of the Adriatic is aboard a boat. Steady
winds, secluded coves, deep channels and safe anchorages make the
Dalmatian coast a fantastic location in which to learn to sail.
Elementary Course
For complete novices who want to learn to sail, you will be taught
the basics about sailing boats, sailing and meteorology. Classes include
both theory and practical elements including sail aerodynamics, boat
maneuvering, navigation, weather forecasting and safety at sea. Accommodation
is in private apartments and tuition during the beginners classes
will be in the vicinity of Hvar town. Minimum number of students is
4, maximum is 10.
Advanced Course
The advanced course is the next stage after the beginners course,
with an accent on improving your sailing skills, concentrating on
the more practical aspects of sailing, maneuvering, mooring and gaining
relevant nautical knowledge. The course is taught entirely aboard
the boat, with accomodation and meals also being onboard. From our
base in Hvar town, it is possible to navigate all of Middle Dalmatia's
islands. Duration of the classes are from 3 to 6 days. Minimum number
