The island of Brac, an easy ferry hop from Split, is renowned for its great windsurfing conditions.The predictable westerly wind known as the 'maestral' blows more or less every afternoon between May and September creating excellent conditions for both beginners and the more experienced alike.
The resort of Bol on the south coast of the island is one of the most popular windsurfing spots in the Mediterranean and is home to a PWA Windsurf World Cup race every year. Day 1 Arrival at Split airport, transfer to Bol on the island of Brac, accomodation in self catering appartments with half board, introduction meeting with instructors and schedule planing. Day 2 -7 Accommodation in private apartments with half board, and windsurf lessons The daily windsurfing program is not predefined, it will be determined in Bol between instructor and guest depending on weather conditions, fitness and ability.
