Spending the first
part of our journey on the beautiful unspoiled island of Vis
we explore the natural caves and grottos and villages where
life remains unchanged by the advances of modern life. We then
transfer to the sunniest and greenest of the Croatian islands,
Hvar which is famed for its fields of lavendar and rosemary.
Our journey then continues to Korcula, the birthplace of Marco
Polo, with its magnificent 15th century walled town and beautiful
bays and vineyards. We then take an excursion to the pearl of
the Adriatic, Dubrovnik before visiting the seductive National
Park island of Mljet.
Itinerary

1
Transfer from airport to ferry terminal at Split. By boat to
Vis island, accommodation on Vis.

Transfer to town of Komiza. By boat to Bisevo island where we
visit the Blue Grotto and walk to the villages of Polje and
Porat. By boat back to Komiza and transfer back to Vis. Walking

Transfer to Hum (564 m). A gentle walk down to the Titova cave
to Zena Glava village and on to Plisko Polje village. Lunch
in local Konoba. After lunch we will continue our walk to Vis

from Vis to Podselje village, and on to Podstrazje. Lunch by
local family restaurant. Walking back through the villages Zecja
glava, Cunkovica and Kut where time stands still. Walking

5 Transfer
to Sv.Mihovil (385 m). Walking over Mali Hum to Zagrebenje,
on to Okljucina and on to Vis. Walking

6 By
ferry to Split. Guided tour of the magnificent Diocletians Palace
and historical centre. After lunch in a local restaurant we
will go by ferry to the island of Hvar and transfer to our accommodation
in Hvar town.

7 Transfer
to Velo Grablje. Walking to the coastal fishing village of Milna
where we will enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon
we will continue around the rugged coast back to Hvar. Walking

8 Transfer
by boat to Brac island and the village of Bol famous for the
protruding sliver of sandy beach at Zlatni Rat. Transfer by
minibus to the abandened village of Gazul (620 m). Walking to
Vidova Gora (778 m), the highest point on the island offering
spectacular views. Lunch in Mountain hut. Walking down to Bol
and transfer by boat back to Hvar. Walking

9 Walking
to Brusje village and visiting the 13th century walled town
of Hvar with local guide. After lunch we will transfer by catamaran
to Korcula. Walking

tour of the medieval town of Korcula, the birthplace of the
world's first explorer, Marco Polo. Lunch in local restaurant.
Afternoon boat trip around the Korcula Riviera and the small
islands of Stupa, Vrnik, and Badija. Walking

11 Excursion
to the pearl of the Adriatic, Dubrovnik. We will visit the UNESCO
listed old town and walk on the city walls, now completely restored
to their former glory.

12 Visit
to Mljet NP. Walking around the saltwater lakes with there island
monastery. Return to Korcula Walking

we walk through the vineyards and villages of Korcula first
passing Zrnovo, then Pavja Luka and finally on to Orlandusa.

Peninsula Peljesac. Transfer by Boat to the village of Kuciste.
Walking throw the hamlets of Ruskovici, Karmen and Gurica selo,
visiting the Fransiscan monastery built on the slopes of Mt.
St illija, and on to the ancient home of sea captains, Orebic.
By boat back to Korcula. Walking

the restaurants we visit are local family run restaurants with
excellent food and wines, for those who don't eat meat or fish

rooms and supplements if applicable.
Group
Size: Tour is based on min. of 6 and max of 12 passengers.
