Itinerary
Day
1 Arrive in Stari Grad from Split
and transfer to your accommodation
in private apartments in Hvar
town (18 km).
Day
2 Sea-kayaking day. From Hvar town we'll set off to the
beautiful Pakleni islands named in the old days when the islands
were the main source of rosin for local shipbuilders. Today,
just like then, the islands reveal sheltered coves and are covered
with thick pine woods providing refreshing shade even during
the hottest summer days. Lunch is planned in a traditional Dalmatian
restaurant near the beach of Vlaka. Along with tasteful food
and home made wine you can enjoy in the peacefulness and the
beauty of the scenery. Afterwards we can take a walk inland
on the island of Sveti Klement, the biggest island of the archipelago.
We continue by paddling along the other side of the island until
we reach the town of Hvar again around 6pm.
Day
3 Sea-kayaking. Again starting in the town of Hvar we
kayak eastwards along the rocky coast line. On the way we'll
visit beautiful bays and beaches, the Red Rocks, before stopping
for lunch at a local restaurants in one of the beautiful bays.
Our kayaking ends at Sveta Nedjelja. Small village on the southern
coast famous for the wine production. You will spend one night
in tents or in small bungalows. Accommodation is very simple
and "back to nature"...
Day
4 Morning trekking tour through olive groves and vineyards
following ancient paths to the peak of St. Nikola. The trail
takes us along the old stone road which was once the only communication
between the South and North of the island. At the peak of Sveti
Nikola at 636 m you will have a wonderful view of all the surrounding
islands. On the way down you will stop at two beautiful caves
and finally arrive in the village of Sveta Nedilja where a lunch
will be organized in one of the traditional restaurants. On
the route home we'll stop for a refreshing swim in one of beautiful
bays along the coast. Return to Hvar around 6pm.
As an alternative
to the hiking tour we can offer a climbing and swimming day.
The routes on the climbing site are both for beginners and for
advanced climbers since there are more than 100 marked routes.
The climbing sites are right on the coast, so once you get too
tired of climbing you can always jump into the crystal blue
sea for some refreshment.
Day
5 We start to kayak back from Sv.Nedjelja to Hvar. We
would visit different beaches and bays than the one we visited
on the way to Sveta Nedjelja. It is area with many opportunities
and secluded bays approachable just by sea... On our way back
we would stop in a restaurant for lunch. We are back in Hvar
around 6pm
Day
6 Early morning transfer to the port of Stari Grad. Ferry
to Split.*
